Horrible Timing
I'm sure everything will work out in the end, but why do some things just have the worst timing?
Last week my husband was laid off from his job of nearly three years at circuit city. Apparently a lot of others had the same fate. As long as you were a good employee who had worked there long enough to receive enough raises to put you over the pay cap, you got the boot.
It's kind of scary thinking about having a baby and not being able to work. I have to depend entirely on Jake. I've always liked taking care of myself. But Jacob is a good man and I trust he'll do a good job taking care of our little family.
He's already found another job, but it doesn't start until mid-May. That might actually be nice. He'll be able to stay home with me and little Sammy (I think that's what we're going to name the baby) for about two weeks. I will probably need all the help I can get.
Next week I'll be visiting Coeur d'Alene. I'm so excited to see everyone and show off my (hopefully) unborn child and extremely large belly.
